Boris Arsiyev was always a keen thinker, having taught philosophy, history, and religion at Moscow Medical Institute for many years and rose to the rank of Associate Professor. He remains in the hearts of his dear wife Irina Gukasyan, his daughter Karina Gregory, son Arsen Arsiev, and son-in-law Michael Gregory. Boris leaves his grandsons Andrew, Mark, and Stephen Gregory who have brought great joy to his life as Boris taught them Russian and chess from a very young age, and practiced their reading and writing with them tirelessly so that they may become fluent.
He was loved by many. He was a very kind and friendly person, always willing to help and give advice. He was also a great storyteller, and was very supportive to his friends and family.
