Catherine (McDonald) O’Keeffe, a resident of Needham since 1951, died suddenly Sun March 5, 2006 at Wingate at Needham. She was 90.
Born in Newton she graduated from Newton High School and Briggs & Stratton School. She worked for several years as a Legal Secretary and had served as Past President of the
Mass Assoc. of Legal Secretary’s. She was also active with her husband in the Reserve Officers Assoc. and served as Past President of the Reserve Officers Assoc. Ladies.
Wife of the late Thomas J. O’Keeffe, she is survived by her sons Thomas J. Jr. of Cotuit, David E. of Portsmouth RI, and Kevin J. of Needham, her brother Edward McDonald of Topsfield, her sister Mary Doviak of Charlotte NC and 8 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Wed March 8 at 9 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
