LEICESTER___Julianne (Paszkowski) O’Packi, 78, of Leicester, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday Oct. 16, 2020 unexpectedly.
Julianne was born and raised in Worcester one of three children of John and Julia (Alexandrovich) Paszkowski. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked for many years at Hebert’s Candy Mansion before retiring.
Julianne is survived by her husband Robert P. O’Packi. Julianne was his best friend, his high school sweetheart, and the love of his life. She also leaves her three children, Darlene A. O’Packi of Shrewsbury; Dawn M. O’Packi of Onset and Robert P. O’Packi, Jr., of Millbury; four grandchildren, Kelsey J. E. O’Packi of Buzzards Bay, Sean Donnelly of Jefferson, Shannon M. Donnelly of Bourne and Shyleigh A. O’Packi of Millbury; one great-granddaughter, Kylah M.R. Reyes, a brother, Mark Paszkowski of Auburn; her granddog, Voldemort and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, John Paszkowski of Auburn.
Julianne enjoyed traveling, cooking and watching baseball with her husband. In the afternoons you could find her across the street feeding “Kay” the horse. Julianne and Bob always looked forward to their date nights at the Chinese Restaurant and their Italian Cannoli’s at the Big – E. Most of all, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 with a service at 1:00 P.M. in HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 23, 2020 before the service in the funeral home. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing face coverings and social distancing will be followed. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
