Thomas Frank Merlino - Age 52, of Waltham, formerly of Wellesley. Beloved son of Helen (Zani) and Frank. Devoted brother of Taryn A. Valle and her husband William of Wellesley. Fun loving uncle of Andrew, Will and Annie. Tom passed away March 3rd after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. His will to live and brave spirit were a true testament to his love of life. A graduate of Wellesley High School and Northeastern University Tom began his business career at FDIC followed by more than 25 years in the mortgage banking industry. Tom was one of the originators and a former president of the Young Mortgage Bankers Ass. of CT. He is a former account executive with Union Planters Mortgage of GA. In addition to his business activities. Tom was a fun loving and adored uncle who enjoyed snowboarding, riding his Harley Davidson, driving his Hummer H2 and vacationing with his nephews and niece. Former member of Woodland Golf Club.
Funeral from the George F.
