A longtime resident of Dover, MA, Henry was the proud son of Armenian Genocide survivors, the late Edward and Armen Zeytoonjian. He is survived by the love of his life, Carol (Tashjian) Zeytoonjian, and his adoring daughter, Andrea. Henry leaves his brother, Edward Zeytoonjian, "Bro" Ronald Tashjian, nieces and nephews Ron Tashjian Jr., Amy (Tashjian) Harrington, Lisa (Zeytoonjian) Glenn, David Zeytoonjian, Trisha Zeytoonjian, cherished great nieces and nephews, and loyal, lifelong friends who brought inordinate joy, mischief, and laugher to his life.
Deeply proud of his Armenian culture, Henry was a dedicated volunteer of St. James Armenian Apostolic Church; he was a connoisseur of Armenian cuisine, played the doumbek drum with gusto, and converted anyone with an open mind to the magic of Armenian music. A lifelong sports fan, Henry found great joy on the golf course, and loved nothing more than the annual golf excursions he and good friends would take down south each Spring. He loved being in the company of family and friends - particularly over good food, drink and conversation, which could be had as he grilled in his backyard or out on the town on a Saturday evening. Henry was a kind, gentle soul, loved by all who met him - we will hold him in our hearts forever.
At this time, the family will be holding private funeral services, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Henry's memory be made to St. James Armenian Apostolic Church (stjameswatertown.org) or to the Armenia Fund (armeniafund.org), supporting the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Henry's beloved motherland of Armenia.
