Lenore Woodard
9/2/1969-10/9/2020
Virgo
Lenore was born in Connecticut; she resided mostly in Fall River and New Bedford. She was loved by many. She was always smiling and joking. She loved to cook, sing (even though she couldn’t lol) dance around and enjoy good company. She was known for her quick wit and spitfire personality. She also had a goofy side. Lenore use to think she was a race car driver especially when she had her Lincoln Town car back in the day lol. She sure did love to dress nice wearing jewelry, nice clothes and shoes to match. Her favorite color was purple. She also loved her lifetime and mystery shows. Lenore was a Virgo and boy oh boy did she love her zodiac signs. She also loved the holidays. She loved carnival rides even though she feared them lol.
Lenore always had these funny ideas that she would just come up with out of the blue when she was overtired lol she sure did love talking on the phone and texting once she figured out how to. She loved to play cards and dominos which she taught to her kids and grandkids and it was quite funny watching them. She enjoyed old school music mainly R&B and taught her grandkids the songs so they could “sing” along with her lol.
She enjoyed Sunday dinners/cook outs and enjoyed just relaxing having a good time. When she went to the stores, she sure did love getting good deals and buying lots of things for her grandkids; she would spoil them and they loved it. Lenore really loved seafood and some good ol fashion soul food like back in the day when her grandmother cooked. Lenore always thought she was somewhat handy but nope she wasn’t lol but she sure did try. Lenore worked for BJs wholesale which she enjoyed working at and became employee of the month on several occasions. She loved having that extra responsibility of the clothing section.
In all her years, no matter what she was going through she would put everyone else before herself helping the best way she could. Lenore went through many changes throughout her life and always bounced back. She had stories to tell for days of her childhood and growing up.
Lenore was a friend to many, a sister, an aunt, great aunt, a mother to 5 children and a grandmother which she greatly enjoyed being and bragged about them whenever she could to whoever lol. Lenore had taken great pleasure in watching her grandkids grow. She deeply cherished the many family gatherings and the time spent with her grandkids. She loved her grandkids now and those that are to come soon.
She will be fondly remembered as the life of the party and Lenore will be missed dearly by all. Lenore doesn’t want you to mourn her passing she wants you to remember the life she lived and the good memories of her even though she was taken to soon from us.
