Joselene Covil, 73 of Stoughton passed away on October 11, 2020, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Joselene was born in Cote-De-Fer, Haiti on March 19 th 1947 and was the loving first child of the late Norbert Covil and Jeannitha St. Germain. After graduating from nursing school in Haiti, she immigrated to Massachusetts in 1983. She obtained another high school diploma from Don Bosco Technical High School, her associates degree from Quincy College, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cambridge College.
Joselene graduated while working full time in the medical field at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. She eventually retired from Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in 2016 after working there for more than 18 years.
Joselene had decided to dedicate her life being a fantastic and wonderful friend, sister, aunt, and mother-figure (The Family’s mom). She excelled at helping others, supporting and advising them through the challenges in their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others and inspiring everyone to find their passion.
Joselene was a loving family member that would always fill her home with warmth and
kindness. She was a child of God and passionate for church (Never missed a Sunday mass!). She was a caring person for her whole life. She will be missed by her family and friends however she will remain in our hearts and in our spirits forever.
