Paul Edward Kelley, age 87, a longtime resident of Medford, passed away on October 9, 2020. He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Anita L. (Guidoboni) Kelley.
Born in Cambridge, Paul was the son of the late Edward W. and Elizabeth T. (Loftus) Kelley. He was raised in Somerville. Mr. Kelley’s high school education was interrupted when he left to join the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served honorably as a Sergeant during the Korean War. Upon his return, he finished high school and went on to earn a degree in accounting at Bentley University. Mr. Kelley spent his entire career with R.J. Antonelli & Company in Somerville.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed golfing, was an avid reader, and could be found attending his grandchildren’s sporting and music events.
In addition to his wife, Anita, Paul is lovingly survived by his children: Michael Kelley and wife Marisa of Melrose, Brian Kelley and wife Laura of Easton, MD, Patricia Nazzaro and husband William of Amesbury and Monica Doherty and husband James of Quincy. He was also the dear brother of Sheila Kelley Menowske of Winchester and is further lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren, whose lives he touched deeply: Justin, Ryan, Alex, Kevin, Rachael, Benjamin and Jordan. Due to the precautions with Covid-19, services are private.
