Nolan, Paul W. of Rockland died March 3, 2006 peacefully at home with his family.
Devoted companion of Doris J. Koch of Rockland. Beloved father of Carole L. Nolan-Burns and her husband Brian of Marshfield and Trina M. Nolan of Rockland. Cherished "Bumpa" of Paul, Cory, and Jeremy. Lifelong friend of Ken MacLean. Also survived by his mother, brother, 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 11:30 am.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 PM.
Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Drive, Braintree, MA 02184.
Paul grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy Trade School. He was in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a member of various automobile clubs including Spindles and South Shore Street Rods. He enjoyed going to the "drags", cruise nights and also restoring automobiles. Paul was also a history buff. The most important thing to Paul was his family and he cherished relaxing and spending time with them.
