FAIRHAVEN — Merrill B. Fisher of Fairhaven died Thursday, October 1, 2020, at home, peacefully, following numerous battles with cancer. She was the wife of the late Earl B. Fisher, to whom she was married to for 53 years.
She was born in Winter Haven, Fl. She moved to Fairhaven while in High School, where she has resided for over 77 years. She was the second daughter of the late Edna (Britt) Phillips’ and only sister to the late Virginia (Branaman) Sadowski.
She was a long time employee of Continental Screw until it closed, and then worked many years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Judicial System.
She is survived by her nephew Stanley F. Sadowski and family of Chapin, SC: his niece Mrs. Carley G. Israel of Spokane, WA; and nephew Paul Fisher of Columbia, MO.

She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery of Fairhaven, in a private ceremony. Arrangements are through Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
