Obituary

Norman C. Mandeville, 74, of Acushnet died peacefully October 6, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of the late Edward and Palmire (Tanguay) Mandeville, he lived in Acushnet many years.
He was formerly employed by Titleist for 53 years until his retirement. A job he truly loved! His family would like to thank Titleist for always looking out for Norman. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Norman enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and yard sales. He especially looked for medical equipment that he would repair and give to those in need.
Survivors include his sister, Irene Wood and her husband Arthur of New Bedford; a brother, Arthur Mandeville of New Bedford; his aunt, Irene Mandeville of Fairhaven; 8 nieces and nephews, Carol Wood, Arthur Wood, Jr., Steven Wood, Michael Mandeville, Therese Hebert, Paul Mandeville, Kathy Andrade, and Jayne Mandeville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was the brother of the late Roger Mandeville and Raymond Mandeville and the uncle of the late Peter Mandeville.
His Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church in New Bedford at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday, October 9th from 4-8 PM.

Please practice social distancing and avoid any close contact. Guests will be permitted to pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter.
