Lorraine D. (Roy) Menard, 92, of Westport, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 following a lengthy illness. She was wife of the late Armand G. Menard, they were married for 58 years.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Hormidas and Isabelle (Durand) Roy. She was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. Known as a hero to her family, she had quick wit and her door was always open to everyone. She was a one of a kind good listener who remembered everything and was always able to recall any memory. Mrs. Menard enjoyed holidays and cooking, but most of all she loved being with her family.
Survivors include her children: Diane L. Sardinha and her husband Tiberio of Fall River, William A. Menard of Westport; Donna M. Andrade of Westport, Michelle D. Roussel and her husband Michael of Fall River and Anne M. Baldwin of Swansea; 10 grandchildren: Mark Sardinha, Lori Sardinha, James Andrade, Kenneth Menard, Jr., Stephanie Enloe, Nicole Menard, Melissa Trudeau, Andrew Baldwin, Kelly Silva and Michael Roussel; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Kenneth R. Menard, Sr., Richard A. Menard and Denise J. Golden; and sister of the late Edna Michaud, Roger Roy, Ronald Roy and Normand Roy.
In honor of Lorraine's wishes, services will be private.
