Obituary

James C. Cameron, age 49, of Medford passed away at home on Wednesday, September 23rd. James was raised in Charlestown and attended the University of Massachusetts in Boston. He and his beloved wife of 19 years met and have been together since they were 18. A Medford resident for nearly 20 years, James worked with Amazon for the past few years, though he preferred to be a stay at home dad to spend time with the light of his life, his daughter Giovanna. James was a cancer survivor and worked out regularly at the Malden Y to aid in his recovery. He loved Dunkin' Donuts as well. He was a devout man who practiced and nurtured his catholic faith. James had a strong intellectual side, never missing an opportunity to read and pursue his interest in history or his keen aptitude for science. He was a good and decent man who loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

The beloved husband of Teresa C. (Capone) Cameron, James was a loving and proud father to Giovanna Cameron. He was the devoted son of Arthur W. Cameron and Janet C. Leggett and her late husband Colin. James was a dear brother to David Cameron and his wife Waldina and Arthur Cameron and his wife Courtney. The dear son-in-law of Jerry and Giovanna Capone, he was the brother-in-law of Anita DiFazio and her husband Joe, Frank Capone and his wife Emilia. James is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Matthew, Kailey, Skylar, Harper, Finnleigh and the late Andrew Cameron; Joseph, Julia and Jeffrey Di Fazio; Francesco, Celia, Felicia and Celina Capone.
