Andra Buell Carlisle was born on May 4, 1934. She passed away peacefully on the evening of April 25 at the Willimansett Nursing Home West in Chicopee. Born in Boston Ma she was the daughter of the late John & Jean Dormer. Andra was 85 years old and a lifelong Chicopee resident where she raised three wonderful children. She later married the love of her life Lawrence Carlisle. Andra will be remembered by her daughter Pamela Buell of Ware Ma; son Wallace and daughter in law Tina Buell of Springfield Ma; son Eric and daughter in law Lorrie Buell of Chicopee Ma. Andra will also be remembered by her 5 grandchildren Erica Buell of Chicopee Ma, Jenaya, Jerome and Nathan Buell of Ware Ma, Rolando Buell of Springfield Ma; along with her two younger sisters Isabell Balfour of Winsted, Ct and Lucille Jacobs of Enfield, Ct; nephew Pj D’amato; niece, Nicole Ginsburg and her husband Phill and their two children, Ethan and Evan Ginsburg from Enfield, Ct. Andra was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence Carlise and her nephew Michael Farrell, son of Isabell Balfour. Calling hours will be held on Tues., Sept. 29th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee Ma with a Prayer Service starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
