BERKLEY – William LaFleur, age 78 of Berkley, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Carvalho) LaFleur. Born in Fall River, William was the son of the late Leo and Veronica LaFleur. Prior to his disability retirement, he worked for the Fall River Public School Dept. as a Foreman Painter, in addition to being the former owner of S&B Construction. He was also a US ARMY Veteran.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by his daughters: Pamela Holt and her husband Stephen, Sherry Pare, Lisa Wamboldt, Christine LaFleur, Kelly Devarie, Wendy Lajoie, Keri LaFleur and Brittany Gadoury and her husband Zac; sons: Thomas LaFleur and his wife Marilyn, Kenneth Oliveira, Jeffrey Oliveira, and the late Glenn Oliveira; his sister: Donna Tetreault; his brothers: Raymond, Leo, Kenneth, Wayne, and Lance LaFleur; 30 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews. William was also the brother of the late Theresa LaFleur, Noela Nunes, and Lorraine Mercer.
Family and friends are invited to William's calling hours that take place on Friday, Sep. 25th from 2-4 P.M. at the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
