Donna Jeanne (Baston) Smith, 70, of Alexandria, died September 21, 2020 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born July 31, 1950 in Dayton, Kentucky, the daughter of Albert David and Jeanne (Hurtt) Baston.
She was a custodian for Anderson Community Schools for many years. She loved spending time with her family, shopping and traveling.
She is survived by her five children; Sherry (Shawn) Finley of Alexandria; Carolyn (Joe) McMillan of Anderson; Connie (Monte) Hough of Anderson; Ronald C. Smith and Kimberly (fiancé Eric) Smith all of Alexandria; brother, Scott A. Baston of Kentucky; Margo Smith of Anderson and Coleen Dean of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald C. Smith; daughter, Sharon Smith; three brothers, Terry, Randy and Jeff Baston; grandson, Andrew Beaty.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Chris Hubler and Pastor Harrison Williams of New Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
