Christina A. (Gavin) Shaw, 42, of Whitman, passed away on September 12th, after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Christina was a lifelong resident of Whitman and a graduate of the Whitman-Hanson, Class of 1995.
Christina will be remembered for her artistic talent, exceptional wit, and her uncanny ability to memorize every word to every song ever written. She had a smile that lit up a room and always left those around her laughing. She was a true friend to many and was an avid social butterfly that had the best dance moves and “cool face” around.
For the past 14 years Christina was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Senior Support Analyst.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Shaw, her children, Chloe & Erin O’Neal, and Keegan Shaw. Her parents, Anita C. Booth Gavin and the late Howard J. Gavin of Whitman. Her sisters Heather Gavin of Hanson and Heidi Fletcher and her husband Ben of Hanson. Also, many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and too many friends to count
Visiting hours will be held Friday September 18 from 4-8PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. There will be a private burial service on Saturday.
