CHICOPEE – Sara Marie Brown, 34, of Chicopee, was Called Home unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on December 10, 1985, a beloved daughter of Lori Ann (Maniscalchi) Menard of Holyoke and the late James E. Brown. She was raised and educated in Holyoke and had lived there most of her life before moving to Chicopee in 2017. She furthered her education and graduated from the former Stanford and Brown Institute in Springfield, receiving a Medical Assistant certification. She was employed as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician at the Springfield Dialysis Center in Springfield. During her leisure time, she enjoyed painting and artwork. Above all, she loved being a mother and spending time with her family and her many friends. In addition to her mother, she leaves her beloved husband and best friend, Kenneth O’Neil; her two loving children whom she adored, Tyler C. Bielecki and Taylor M. Young, both of Chicopee; her dear sister, Patti Brown Killeen and her husband, Matt Killeen of Greenfield; and their children, Jackson, Hayden and Ava Killeen; her dear brother, Tony Cabana of Holyoke; her dear paternal grandmother, Eleanor Leech of Holyoke; her longtime best friend, Julie Bousquet of Springfield; and her many dear uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her dear stepfather, Mike Menard; and her loving maternal grandparents, Charles and Claire (Schimke) Maniscalchi. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. which will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
