MacDonald, Connor of Dedham, age 25, passed away too soon on September 7, 2020. Beloved son of Eileen MacDonald and Mark MacDonald. Brother of Erin (EMac) and Ryan MacDonald. Grandson of Frank and the late Pat O’Connor of Dedham and Marshfield, and Phyllis MacDonald of Medfield and the late Gene MacDonald formerly of West Roxbury. Nephew of Betsy and Peter Eliot, the late Trish O’Connor, Kerry and Bill Loftus and Joe and Stacey O’Connor all of Dedham, and Margie and Paul Catanoso, and Tim and Diane O’Connor of Marshfield. Nephew of Gary and Nancy MacDonald formerly of Medfield, and Kelli and Steve Robertson of Groton. He is also survived by Kathy and George Creighton of Holbrook. Connor was friend as well as family to his 14 O’Connor cousins: Peter and wife Ali, Marie and husband Greg, Jacki, Billy, Molly, Nick, Frank, Mike, Kaylee, Trey, Drew, Griffin, Max, and Avery, as well as nephews Cameron, Jacob, and Colin. He also leaves his MacDonald cousins Ali, Colin and Owen. Connor was a caring, funny, sarcastic person who deeply loved his family, especially his mom. He got his love of sports from his father and older siblings and especially loved playing baseball and golf. He was a former standout pitcher for Dedham High School and Babe Ruth. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Dedham at 11:00 am. Visiting hours Monday September 14 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
