Charles White "Chuck" Shepherd IV, age 48, of Medford passed away on Tuesday, September 8, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of Charles White Shepherd III of Somerville, and Brenda (Kenney) Shepherd of Medford. Chuck was employed as an account manager for Cambridge City Court.
Chuck was the beloved husband of Loretta (DiFava) Shepherd, and the devoted father of Tegan DiFava, Nyssa DiFava, Alana Shepherd, and the late Charles White Shepherd V. He was the dear brother of Brandon Shepherd of North Carolina, and Matthew Shepherd and his wife Kathleen of New Hampshire. Chuck was a loving uncle and God-Father to Charles Shepherd, and is survived by many more loving family and friends.
Brother Chuck was raised a Master Mason in Golden Rule Lodge of Wakefield on May 12, 2016. At the time of his passing he held the office of Junior Deacon. He received the Masonic Rookie Award in 2017 for his dedication and service to his Lodge. Chuck was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford, and a devoted family man who supported his wife and daughters in all of their passions and interests.
A funeral service with social distancing protocols will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Sunday, September 20th at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 2 through 4 PM. Interment will be private.
