Randy E. Turner, 57, of Dartmouth died September 8, 2020 unexpectedly at home.
Born in Mansfield, Ohio, son of Geraldine E. (Gremling) Turner of New Bedford and the late Arthur J. Denis, he was raised on many military bases across the country before moving to Dartmouth in 1999.
Randy was employed as a custodian at Bishop Stang High School, a job that he was very passionate about.
He enjoyed the little things in life like spending time with family and friends. Randy had the personality that could spark a conversation with just about anyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was camping with friends or roasting marshmallows in the backyard. He was a fearless soul, always looking for the next adventure. His favorite places included the beach and any place with a lighthouse, especially Nobska. Randy was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Turner of Dartmouth; his former wife, Brenda L. Turner of Dartmouth; his mother, Geraldine E. (Gremling) Turner of New Bedford; his brother, Kevin Turner and his wife Basia of Brooklyn, NY; his fiancée, Ronda Robinson; a niece and a nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 14th at 11 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 13th from 1-5 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
