Mack Keith Doss, Jr., 72, of Waycross, formerly of Tifton, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Doss at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2020, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe will officiate.
Born April 2, 1948 in Tifton, Mr. Doss was the son of the late Mack Keith Doss, Sr. and Zema Mathis Doss. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Russell Madison Doss and one sister, Patty Doss Sumner. Before retiring, he was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator. He also served in the United States Army.
Mr. Doss is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mack Keith III and Amanda Doss of Tifton and Christopher Michael and Cassie Doss of Johnston, South Carolina; two step-daughters, Lisa Stocker of Augusta and Tracy Gollins of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one sister, Betty Ann Robinson of Omega; six grandchildren, Keith Doss IV, Trey Doss, Abby Scarborough, Savanna Merritt, Caylah Doss and Caitlen Doss; and one great-granddaughter, Riverleigh Scarborough.
