Elaine D. Frawley, 81, of Waveland Street, Johnston, died Sunday, September, 6, 2020 at Woonsocket Health Center in Woonsocket after a brief illness. She was the widow of William E. Frawley who died in 2006.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Eva (Villandry) Ducharme. She had lived in Johnston for 81 years.
Elaine enjoyed baking with her daughter and delivering her baked goods to her many friends. Many families were visited by Elaine and Karen at the holidays and presented with her fabulous pound cake and a host of other treats and gifts. She loved people and had a warm smile and infectious laugh. It was always a pleasure to spend time with Elaine and her family.
She was the beloved mother of: Karen Frawley of Johnston and Linda Frawley of Connecticut, grandmother of three grandsons, David, Robert and Jeffrey Rull and sister of Louis “Lou” Ducharme and his wife, Barbara of North Providence. She was the mother of the late Sharon Frawley who died in 2004.
Her funeral service was held in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial was in Acote’s Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
