Obituary

Frank V. Bagley, 87, of Medway, died peacefully Monday, September 7, 2020 at home with family at his side. He was the beloved husband of June C. (Cook) Bagley for 50 years.

Born in Blackstone on October 19, 1932, he was the son of late Margaret (Vaughan) Bagley and the late George Francis Bagley.

Frank was a long time resident of Medway before moving to The Villages, Florida in 2004.

Mr. Bagley was a graduate of Holy Cross College in 1954. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Marine Corp 1954 – 58.

Mr. Bagley had been a teacher and coach for 40 years in the Medway High School and Natick High School Systems. He coached football, basketball and baseball at the youth and High School levels.

Frank had worked at Rossetti’s and Keystone Liquors for many years and volunteered at the Medway Senior Center.

He enjoyed all sports, reading, woodworking, puzzles and swimming, and was a fantastic cook, with many specialties, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by four children, Donna Gagnier and her husband Rick of Medway, Craig Bagley and his wife Sandra of Green Bay, WI, Susan McSweeney of Medway, and Philip Bagley of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He Is also survived by his Grandchildren, Greg Markert, Lesley Snow, James McSweeney, Kyle McSweeney and Leigh McSweeney and 3 Great Grandchildren Katrina and Brianna Snow, and Michael Walsh.

He was the brother of the late Richard Bagley.

Services will be private with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Medway Athletic Association, c/o Medway High School, Medway, MA 02053.
