Louis R. Spiezio, Jr., 67

Louis R. Spiezio, Jr., age 67, of Plainville, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA.

Born in Attleboro, MA on June 28, 1953, he was a loving son of the late Louis R., Sr. and Ebba (Anderson) Spiezio.

Lou grew up in Mansfield, was a 1971 graduate of Mansfield High School and worked as a painter for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Wrentham Developmental Center.

A resident of Plainville for the past thirteen years, Louie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Wrentham Sportsman Association.

He was the dear brother of Jerry Spiezio and his wife Susan of Taunton, John Spiezio and his wife Elaine of Centerville, Cindy Delp and her husband Don of Florida, Phillip Spiezio of Norton, Joseph Spiezio of Dartmouth and the late Carl Spiezio. He was the stepbrother of Ralph Bernard of Taunton and is also survived by four loving nieces.

Services, along with burial at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield, will be held privately at a later date and visiting hours have been omitted.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
