Jeffrey T. Clark, 56, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 10 AM, Friday, September 4, 2020, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Jeff Parmer and the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald and will also welcome friends to visit at their home following the graveside service on Friday.
Mr. Clark was born March 7, 1964, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Yvonne Pridgen Clark and the late L.H. Clark. He earned a maintenance degree from Ben Hill-Irwin Tech. He worked for Irwin EMC for over 25 years in several capacities, including as a First-Class Lineman. He was currently working as a Serviceman. He loved to fish and hunt and raised livestock through the years including cows, goats, turkeys, and chickens. He was a member and Deacon of Crossview Baptist Church and served as a Gideon with the Ben Hill-Irwin Camp. Jeffrey loved his Lord and his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Teresa N. Clark of Fitzgerald; his mother, Yvonne P. Clark of Fitzgerald; a brother, Jed Clark of Fitzgerald; a sister, Jennifer C. Revels of Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law: Joan & Quinton Nilson of D’Iberville, Mississippi, Kathy & Lawton Lovett of Fitzgerald, and LeAnne & Mike Handley of Fitzgerald; brother-in-law, Mike & Dale Niday of Fitzgerald; an uncle, Jimmy & Kay Clark of Fitzgerald; along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
