Wilbur Dee Durant, 80, of Livingston, Tennessee died peacefully at his home on August 30, 2020.
He was born on October 4, 1939, in Lapel, the son of Glen and Constance (Hendricks) Durant.
He was a stationary Engineer at Emge meat processing plant for 29 years and retired in 1991. He attended Highland Free Will Baptist Church in Livingston. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, Order of Eastern Star, and the Shriner Hillbillies. He loved to mow his grass and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Carr) Durant whom he married on July 25, 1988 in Tennessee; two children, Debora (Don) Fisher of Livingston, Tennessee and David Durant of Anderson; two grandchildren, Madison (fiancé', Bobby Crawford) Fisher of Livingston, Tennessee and Alec (Kaitlyne) Durant of Indianapolis; his twin brother, Willis Lee (Deborah) Durant and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Loretta "Sue" Durant in 1987; his parents and his brother, Jerry Durant.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Daniel Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Shriners Hospital for Children.
