Janet Zuraski, 65, of Jessup, passed away Friday at home. She was the wife of Richard Zuraski, who passed away Aug. 1, 2018.
Born in Baltimore, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Margaret Nikol Wilt, she was a graduate of St. Ursula High School, Baltimore, Md., and was a member of Sacret Heart Parish, Peckville.
Surviving are a daughter, Amber, Archbald; sons, Richard, Scott Twp.; Shaun and wife, Melissa, Dickson City; and Daniel, Jayden and Jacob, all of Jessup; eight grandchildren, Aiden, Bryan, Abbey, Claire, Nathan, Lucas, Jackson and Gabriel; and many nieces and nephews; brothers, Michael Wilt and wife, Barbara; Richard Wilt and wife, Pam; sisters, Susan Hurt and husband, Charlie; Carol Sohns and husband, Rob; Karen Longo and husband, Lenny. She was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas.
Janet's joy in life was spending time with her family, She adored her grandchildren and loved her children unconditionally. She was always there when someone needed a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on, always putting everyone else first. She will be truly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home, 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Peckville. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Throop. Friends attending the Mass are asked to proceed directly to church.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Please follow all guidelines of social distancing and wearing masks when attending services and viewing.
