Lucien J. Michaud, 90, of Manchester, died February 28, 2006, at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester, May 14, 1915, and was the son of Thomas J. and Louise (Belle’Isle) Michaud. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Michaud retired as general superintendent of J.F. McElwain Shoe Co., where he worked for 43 years.
He was a former member of the Southern NH Snow Slickers Snowmobile Club; the Manchester Rotary Club; and Circle Nationale Club.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
Family members include his wife of 68 years, Germaine M. (Houle) Michaud of Manchester; a son, Dr. Norman G. Michaud and his wife Anna, of Dunbarton; a daughter, Judith M. Madden and her husband Harold, of Candia; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday March 3, 2006 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
