Edward Franklin Dwyer of Haverhill, MA, formerly of Andover, passed on August 20, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital. He was born July 16, 1937, the son of the late Charles and Alma (Gaudet) Dwyer. He grew up in Andover where he attended Punchard High School, class of 1956, where he played all different sports. He served his country during the Korean War in the Army in a M.A.S.H. unit as an ambulance driver. He retired from Raytheon in Andover and Lowell. Edward was a member of the Andover Elks. He loved taking trips to the casino, traveling, and his dog Ghost. He loved sports and was a big Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Florence Bergeron Dwyer and 2 sons, John Dwyer of Haverhill, MA and James Dwyer of Winslow, ME. He is also survived by two grandsons, Curtis J. Dwyer and Josh C. Dwyer of Meridan, CT. and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Marie Dwyer. He was the last of eleven children of Charles and Alma Dwyer.
