Harriet (Thomassen) Kennedy, 81, of Carver, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Plymouth with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald Kennedy and the late Lawrence Jarvis.
Mrs. Kennedy was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Johnnes and Alfrida Thomassen. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a waitress at the former Tamarack Restaurant, Lakeville. She had a love for all animals and was known to be a social butterfly. She enjoyed yard sales and antiquing.
Survivors include her daughter: Karen Kennedy of East Wareham; her 2 brothers: David R. Thomassen of Fairhaven and Harold Thomassen of Sarasota, FL; her sister: Solveig Hayward of New Hartford , CT; her grand niece who was like a granddaughter: Nicole Thomassen; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Carol Stevens.
