Barbara A. (Brickley) Dello Russo passed away peacefully at home. She was 94. Born and raised in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Mogan) Brickley. A Medford resident for most of her life, Barbara worked as a book keeper until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara and her late husband Richard enjoyed a long and beautiful marriage together. They were great entertainers and Barbara made sure that family and friends were always welcome at their home. She had a great talent for numbers and accounting which helped her long professional career. She was a great dancer, enjoyed giving dinner parties and enjoyed travelling with family and her wonderful close circle of friends. Barbara gave a great example of womanhood to her three daughters and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late Richard W. Dello Russo, Barbara was a devoted mother to Susan Farese of Medford, and her late husband Robert, Debra Kavanaugh and her husband Stephen of Wilmington, Pamela Wood and her husband Gary of Billerica. She leaves her loving grandchildren: Jennifer Farese, Robert Farese, Michael Kavanaugh and Christopher Kavanaugh. Barbara was a devoted great-grandmother to Trey and Declan. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Walter, Joseph, and Charles Brickley, Margaret Dickie and Katherine Olivadoti. She leaves many dear nieces and nephews.
Burial services will be held privately.
