Rose Leontine Moreau, 75, passed away on Aug. 23, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton, Ma. She was born in Leogane, Haiti, the daughter of Mecene Moreau and Saintanie Dumond, both deceased. She was a beloved member of the Brockton Church of God. Rose was especially known for her sharp wit and sense of style. Preceded in death by older brothers Gesner Gustave and Oscar Moreau Sr., sisters, Rosia Moreau and Lorma Biroche and her oldest grandson, Jean Fritzson Tales. She is survived by her only child, son, Rev. Jean F. Tales and his wife Rev. Marie G. Tales; grandson, Emmanuel Tales; granddaughter, Dafney Tales-Lafortune and her husband; one great grandson, Caleb; older sister Roselie Moreau; younger sisters, Marie Clotilde Dumond and Rose Magella Dumond; nieces and nephews Daniel Moreau, Welcie Moreau Rogers and husband, Michaelle Antenor and husband, Francene Moreau and wife, Samuel Moreau and wife, Oscar Moreau, Sony Louis, John Fritz Moreau and wife, Rose Marie Ferdinand and husband, Nestor Gustave, Linda Vilfort and husband, Edner Jean-Louis, Marline Saget and husband, Marie Sime, Edline Joseph and husband, along with numerous friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30AM, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street, with Bishop Marc Simon officiating. Burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 N Main Street West Bridgewater. Viewing from 8 am prior to services.
