Salem
Conrad P. Dionne, 84, of Salem, passed away peacefully at the Lafayette in Marblehead following a period of declining health. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Emilien A. and Anita B.(Morin) Dionne.
Connie attended Assumption Prep and was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. He enlisted in the Army and served in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Following his tour of duty he returned to Salem and worked in sales for several companies. For many years he held the local franchise for Snap on Tools. Connie was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Salem Council 76 and was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish. He was a lifelong resident of Salem and member of Ste. Anne Parish.
He is survived by his brother, Richard E. Dionne and his wife Susan of Salem and their sons Jason R. Dionne of Savannah, GA, and Marc E. Dionne and his wife Melissa of Denver, CO as well as two grandnephews, Gabriel & Colin and grandniece Jameson. He was predeceased by his brother, Normand Dionne.
