Randy T. Betts, age 37, of Roxbury, formerly of Brockton, died August 19, 2020 at Beth Israel Hospital following a lengthy battle with COVID-19. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Keith and Ruth A. (Haskell) Betts of Brockton.
Randy was a 2001 graduate of Brockton High School. For many years he was employed at American Eagle Outfitters in the South Shore Plaza, and at the time of his passing, he was the Executive team leader of Human Resources at Target in Somerville.
Randy was funny, energetic and the center of any party. He loved music, dancing, and photography. For many years he was a member of several photography clubs, and lived life through his camera lens.
In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by his two brothers who he was so proud of, Brendan Betts and his fiancée Melanie Santos of Taunton and Steven Betts of Brockton. He was the half-brother of Keith, Malika, Tawanda and Talan Council and grandson of Alma Betts of Brockton. Randy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and countless friends. He leaves two lifelong best friends, Denise Gonzales and Jewel Burke.
Private family services will be held at this time and a celebration of Randy’s life will be announced at a later date.
