Patrick L. “Pat” McDowell, 52, of Derry, NH, passed away Wednesday August 19, 2020 in Derry, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Pat was born June 29, 1968 in Portland, ME and was a son of the late Neal and Lola (Johnson) McDowell. He was raised and educated primarily in Haverhill, MA. Pat had been a resident of Derry for the past 13 years.
Pat was employed as an HVAC Controls Engineer with Albireo Energy Co. for the past 5 years and had been in the HVAC field for many years. He loved old cars, especially his Camaro, car shows and the local sports teams. Pat was a movie buff and loved his “Rock Star” and “Diet Coke”.
Members of the family include his wife of 5 years, Karen DiGregorio of Derry, his daughter and her husband, Kristen and Matthew Rikeman and his granddaughter, Emerson Rikeman, his step-son Jakob Folley his sister, Deborah Sieczkowski, four brothers, William, Neal, Richard and Edward McDowell, as well as many nieces and nephews.
After cremation, the family is planning a Celebration of Pat’s life, August 30, 2020 from 1 to 4 pm at 17 Skylark Drive in Derry.
