Eleanor Murphy, 90, of Largo, FL passed away December 26, 2019 under Hospice care in her daughters Florida home. She was born in Manchester, NH on March 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Warren and Priscilla (Carpenter) Bliss. Eleanor had seasonally resided in Florida since 1997, formerly a lifelong resident of Derry, NH. She was a charter member of Calvary Bible Church in Derry and a 3rd generation farmer at Bliss Farms, E Derry.
She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Jordan of Epsom, Peggy Forest of Epsom, Priscilla Blake of Allenstown, two sons, Donald Murphy of Meredith, David Murphy of Derry, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry W. Murphy in 2003.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry. A burial was previously held in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E Derry. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Calvary Bible Church.
