Obituary

WORCESTER___Petronella (Sidlauskas) Antakauskas, 89, formerly of 95 Harrison St., died Saturday February 25 in Knollwood Nursing Center, West Boylston.

Her husband, Walter Antakauskas died in 1996. She leaves a son, Arnold J. Antak and his wife Carol of Stoddard, N.H. and a nephew, Vytas Sidlauskas in Lithuania. She was born and raised in Lithuania a daughter of Casimir and Ona (Gensevicius) Sidlauskas and has lived here since 1949.

Mrs. Antakauskas worked in the housekeeping dept. at State Mutual Assurance Co. for many years and was later a self employed domestic in private area homes. She retired many years ago.

She was a member of St. Casimir Church, its Mothers Guild and the Lithuanian American Roman Catholic Women’s Alliance, St. Casimir chapter.

The funeral will be held on Thursday March 2 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Thursday March 2 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, Ma 01605.
