Cynthia A. (Mason) Brown, age 60, passed away on August 14, 2020 from the UMass Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 30, 1960 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Evelyn S. (Bozek) Mason. Cynthia was a graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 1978. She worked an administrative assistant for the City of Chicopee Assessors Office for many years. Cynthia is predeceased by her husband Donald G. Brown who passed away in 2009. She is survived by her son Timothy M. Brown of Chicopee; her daughter Kristina T. Brown and her boyfriend Shawn LaRue of Chicopee; her brother Thomas M. Mason Sr., of Illinois; her sister Linda A. Couture of Chicopee; along with her niece and god daughter, Carissa Lisee and her children Owen Robert Lisee and Ryan Thomas Lisee, who were loved like her grandchildren. She also leaves her life-long best friend Ginny Crothers of Chicopee and her 3 kitties, Einstein, Isaac and Uzie. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Grise` Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 24, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Rose de Lima Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in St Stanislaus Cemetery, where her and her husband will be laid to their final rest together. Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas J.
