In Taunton, Elizabeth H. Medeiros, Age 92, passed away unexpectedly in Morton Hospital on August 18, 2020. Elizabeth was the loving wife of Lawrence Medeiros of Taunton. She was born in North Dighton, the daughter of the late Arthur & Helen (Lacerda) Lefaivre. Elizabeth had resided in Taunton most of her life. She was employed for the City of Taunton, working in the schools food service department. Elizabeth enjoyed going to the Cape and watching the boats at the Cape Cod Canal, She was devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her time with family, especially her beloved grand and great grandchildren. Elizabeth leaves her children, Deborah Shealy and husband Stephen of Taunton, Patricia Dolan and husband Daniel of East Taunton, Joanne McGuire and husband Robert of Raynham and Raymond Medeiros and his late wife Maria of East Taunton and her late son Brian Medeiros. She also leaves her siblings, Audrey Motta of Taunton, Janice Terry of Dighton and Janet Whitmore of North Dighton and her late brother Arthur Lefaivre Jr. Elizabeth leaves her beloved 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in East Taunton on Friday, August 21st at 10am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
