Sherrie Ann (Lewis) Hoeschele, age 57, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away in her home on August 11, 2020. She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Linda Rock and Edward Lewis. She married Karl Hoeschele in 1980. She traveled the east coast extensively in her youth and lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Upstate New York; and Tucson, Arizona. She enjoyed crafting, dancing, singing karaoke, watching movies, playing games and puzzles, fishing, camping, gardening, shooting the woodchucks who dared to eat her garden, and boating. At various times subscribing to the Catholic and Protestant faiths, she became agnostic in the latter part of her life. In plain terms, she supported tolerance and opposed bigotry. She was quick with a comeback. She loved the dogs in her life: Brutus, Shadow, Sammy, Dakota, and Stormy.
She is survived by her former husband, Karl Hoeschele of Spencerport, New York; son, Steven Hoeschele of the San Francisco Bay Area, California; daughter, Crystal Hoeschele of Rochester, New York; mother, Linda Rock of Fall River, Massachusetts; brother, Bryan Lewis of Winterport, Maine; brother, Robert Lewis of Bangor, Maine; sister, Kerri Richard of Fall River, Massachusetts; brother, John Paiva of Fall River, Massachusetts; Michelle Kalee of Milton, Florida; uncle Bill Lewis of Florida; longtime friend, Lucy Mendes of Fall River, Massachusetts; friend, Heather Pina of Massachusetts; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her father, Edward Lewis of Tucson, Arizona; grandmother, Mary Kring of Tucson, Arizona; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
