James E. Burch, age 54, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away peacefully at home, with his beloved wife Kristel A. (Haskins) Burch by his bedside, on Friday, August 14, 2020.
Born in Taunton, MA on June 23, 1966, he was a loving son of the late Dorothy A. (DeMello) Burch. He grew up and was educated in Taunton and had previously been employed as a pipelayer for gas line companies.
An avid Boston Bruins fan, Jim enjoyed muscle cars, motorcycles, camping and hiking, and partying with his many-many cherished friends.
In addition to his beloved wife, whom he was wed for the past three years and knew since the age of twelve, he is survived by his devoted children: Tyler J. Burch of Taunton, Brooke J. Burch of Taunton, Tabbetha L. Diggle of Florida, Christina M. Carter of Japan, Charles C. Havens of Pennsylvania, Alexandria J. Peters of Pennsylvania, Preston Burch of Taunton and Korissa Burch of Taunton. He was the dear brother of Preston M. Burch of Taunton, Keith R. Burch of East Taunton, Margaret A. “Peggy” Burch of Taunton, Yvonne T. Burch of Taunton, he is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Services, along with burial at Precinct Cemetery in Lakeville will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
