David R. Aldrich, an 8 year resident of Saugus and formerly of Wakefield and Canton, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 50 years of age.
David was born in Brockton on May 16, 1970, a son of retired Boston Police Lieutenant Detective David R. Aldrich. He grew up in Canton where he was educated in the Canton Public School system and graduated from Canton High School in 1988. He furthered his education several years later and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management from Wentworth Institute in Boston. David has been working as a Carpenter and is a member of the Carpenters Union Local # 328 for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, his atv's and his dirt bikes. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, skiing and working on cars in his spare time.
David is the beloved son of retired Boston Police Lieutenant Detective David R. Aldrich and his late wife Sandra (Moccia) Aldrich. He is the fiance of Lisa Fournier and dear friend of Lucille Fournier. He is the devoted brother of the late Dana Meagher and Kimberly Aldrich. He is the loving uncle to Shawn Meagher and Courtney Meagher. He is the beloved nephew of Linda McDermott and her husband Jack, Lynn Gardner and her husband Randy and Dennis Aldrich and his wife Kathy. He is also survived by his many loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's visiting hours on Saturday morning, August 22, 2020 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial is private. (FACIAL COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE FUNERAL HOME.)
