FALL RIVER… Eric F. “The Witchdoktor” Liebl, 51, of Swansea passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident.
Mr. Liebl was born in Fall River a son of Helen Liebl-Lucas of Swansea and the late John R. Liebl, Jr and had lived most of his life in Swansea.
Eric was a tattoo artist known as “The Witchdoktor” by many.
The Witchdoktor enjoyed tattooing, motorcycles, playing the guitar and singing.
Survivors include his mother and her husband James A. Lucas of Swansea, 2 sons: Eric A. Liebl of Boston, Ryder F. Liebl of Swansea, a brother John R. Liebl, III of Warren, a sister Heidi M. Liebl and her companion Tom Velozo of Swansea, a step-sister Julie A. Lucas-Davitian and her husband Bernard of Boston , 2 nieces: Tara Aubrey and Kayla Dillon. He was the step-brother of the late Jaime Baldwin.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 5 - 8 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River MA 02723.
Inurnment will take place Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 9 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hortonville Rd. Swansea, MA 02777.
