Bridgewater- Evelyn F. (Hottleman), 91, of Bridgewater, formerly of South Boston, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of the late George F. Eggers.
Born Jan. 26, 1915, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Chance) Hottleman.
Mrs. Eggers grew up in South Boston and attended South Boston schools.
She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Theresa A. King and her husband Charles of Bridgewater and George F. Eggers of Marshfield; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Frances Richelle, Thomas Hottleman and Helen Lunny.
Her funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9:15 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 pm. Burial in Central Cemetery.
