FALL RIVER… Joaquin Ferreira, 66, of Fall River passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020, at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
He was the husband of Delta (Polanco) Ferreira of Fall River.
Mr. Ferreira was born in Barranquilla, Colombia a son of Gala (Simmond) Ferreira of Colombia and the late Joaquin T. Ferreira and had lived in Fall River since 2016.
Joaquin enjoyed thrift shopping.
Survivors include his mother and wife, 4 sons: Chris Planco of Fall River, Louis Miranda of Fall River, Carlos Ferreira of New York, NY, Ivan Ferreira of Fall River, a daughter Angela Ferreira of Fall River, a brother Ruben Ferreira of Colombia, 3 sisters: Jadida Ferreira, Socorro Ferreira, Jenny Ferreira all of Colombia, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Arando Ferreira and the brother of the late Wilfredo Ferreira. arrangements under the direction of South Coast Funeral Home.
