Eleanor T. (Murphy) Cadres, 92 of Whitman, MA died peacefully on August 10, 2020 at the Southwood Nursing Home in Norwell.
Born in Abington, MA in 1928, she was the loving wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Cadres.
For over ten years, Eleanor was a dedicated volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital and had worked for the Brockton Multi Service Center as a secretary. She had also spent many years as a partner, helping her husband in running a successful business.
She enjoyed socializing with friends over lunch, spending time with her grandchildren and reading a good book.
She leaves behind her three children, Shirley A. Horner and her husband David, James A. Cadres and his wife Denise and Robin M. Jennison and her husband Jack and her brother Thomas Murphy and his wife Lucille. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
All services will be private. Arrangements by the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Whitman.
