Anna Margaret Hickey Scarborough, 75, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John Curtis Falotico and the Rev. Brantley Seymour officiating. Mrs. Scarborough will be laid to rest at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt County.
Mrs. Scarborough’s nephews, Ben Hickey, Jeff Bullard, Jason Bullard, Jodie Bullard, as well as Lance Courtoy and Shawn McMillan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Falotico, Becky Falotico, Ann Falotico, Winky Wright, Maria and Russ Wood, Mary Jo Stone, Betty Lovett, Diane Snow, Bonnie Flick, Jenna Gruber, Don and Norma Banks, Pam and Chuck Repass, Jimmy Castleberry, Ann Ennis, Elizabeth Dillard and Phil Hendley.
Born January 13, 1945 in Norman Park, Mrs. Scarborough was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Hickey and Louise Brown Hickey. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Castleberry. She retired from Central Jewelers after 46 years and she was a member of Tift Avenue Baptist Church.
Mrs. Scarborough is survived by her husband, Larry Scarborough of Tifton; one step-daughter, April Scarborough of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Cynthia Hickey of Ellenton; one sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Jimmy Bullard of Adel; one grandson, Jayden Courtoy; and her nieces and nephews, Tina Coleman, Ben Hickey, Jeff Bullard, Jason Bullard and Jodie Bullard.
