Charles Thomas Easom, 64, of Lithia Springs died Sunday, February 26, 2006 in Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Minister John Voss and Rev. Johnny Ivey will officiate with burial to follow in Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, February 28, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Mr. Easom was born on September 14, 1941 in Cordele and was the son of Charles M. and Hazel Easom, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Homer Easom. He was retired from the U.S. Army National Guard as a Sergeant First Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Johnson of Lithia Springs and Sonya Story of Tifton; one brother, Carl Easom of Albany; three sisters, Dorothy Wiggins of Tifton, Ann Davis of Tifton and Betty Tyler of Tifton; six grandchildren; and a loving friend, JoAnne Hogan.
