WESTBROOK- Barbara Ann (Frank) Webb, 81, of 80 Longfellow Place, Westbrook, Maine, passed away peacefully after battling with health issues. She was surrounded by her daughter, Raynor (Webb) Kent and her sister, Brenda (Frank) Duncan when she went home to be with our Lord.

Barbara enjoyed family gatherings, especially at Higgins Beach, Kiwanis Beach, Sebago Lake State Park and at the homes of family members for reunions or just a Sunday get-together at the Franks.
She was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles and for many years was a great pitcher on a local softball team! She enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards, dancing, singing, whistling and laughing!
For many years, Barbara vacationed with Michael on Caribbean Cruise Line ships. In addition, their travels included trips to Key West, West Virginia, Myrtle Beach, and trips to Florida to visit her son, James and family. She also enjoyed flying to Arizona with her sister, Brenda to visit their brother, Artt and family.
No adventure was too challenging for Barbara and Michael! In their 60’s, they added to their achievements a White Water Rafting trip!
Barbara so enjoyed sharing memories and stories with friends and loved ones. She had a phenomenal memory. She truly had a big heart and cared and loved her family and friends so very deeply. She would welcome you into her home with open arms and you would never leave there hungry - a selfless person who would always put the care of others before herself and literally would give you her last dollar if you needed it.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Nikki McDowell, a lifelong friend, for her love and compassion in assisting Michael with Barbara’s personal needs and homecare during her failing health.
Our family would also like to give a special thanks to Southern Maine Hospice for the care they provided, especially to nurse Jay, Tracy, Edie, Chaplin Dave and nurse Mary who all made her end of life as beautiful and comforting as possible while she remained in her own home.
Lastly, we cannot find the words to express how deeply touched we were with the respect, dignity and professionalism shown by Kate, Jamal, Lisa, Terri, Erica, Barb, Michaela and Lil from Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday Aug. 22 at 10 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
